Whitby Cleans Up

Brunswick Methodist Church was once the pride of Whitby but since it was not in regular use the terrace has become overgrown . Willing workers from Whitby Civic Society and Whitby in Bloom volunteered to clean it up . After a lot of hard work they were rightly pleased with their results

Before

Volunteers were: Maisie Marsden, Doreen Wort, Geoff Wilson, Harold Holmes, Maureen Eves from Whitby Civic Society. Susan Davies, Gwynn Davies of Whitby in Bloom. Evelyn Garbutt and George Dawson were also a very big help. Betty Bayliss of WCS brought refreshments for the workers - which were very welcome!
