Explore Lewis Carroll's connections with Whitby. Led by a long-standing member of the Civic Society and enlived by members of the Paul Nicholas School of Acting.
Children must be accompanied by a parent or other responsible adult. The trail is free but booklets are available for £1.50. These enable a family to follow the trail themselves at any time and include a quiz. A certificate will be awarded for successful completion of the quiz if you take it to La Rosa tearooms. Immediately following Civic Society Week, the regular monthly meeting will be held in the Normanby Room at Whitby Museum, Pannett Park, 7.15pm on Monday, 21 June. Distinguished local historian, Rosalin Barker, Honorary Fellow of Hull University, will speak on "Changing Places - A Life in Local History". Admission £2. Non-members and members welcome. Light refreshments available.
