In 2010 the Whitby Civic Society opened the Well House to visitors on 7 occasions.

There were 160 visitors over the 7 openings

Last year there were 123, of whom 107 visited over the Heritage Open Days in September.

Since records of visitor numbers began in June 2003 there have been 1,274 visits recorded.
