June Atkinson, June runs our raffles and helps generally
Parry Thornton with his wife Jean regularly opens the Whitby Spa behind Broomfield Terrace.
He has done a lot of research on prominent Whitby people and conducted several tours of the Town cemetery to show the graves of former Whitby notables.
With John Shorter he corrected and brought up to date the two Town Trails.
Doreen Wort has been Beach Cleans organiser for several years as well as performing several important roles in the past.
Maisie Marsden was for several years our membership secretary but is also a willing volunteer whenever needed
Richard Cooke has been making our Blue Plaques look like new but sadly after struggling for more than a year he died of cancer. We shall miss him
Maureen Eves is very busy with her work and studies but will continue to help us when she can.

Susan Harty as well as secretary is our PR member,sending news of our activitiess to newspapers and our website.She also with Nik take a special interest in health and handicapped matters.
Geoff Wilson is Community Champion and has been actively working to improve re-cycling in Whitby
John Shorter specialises in planning and is the organiser for Heritage Open Days
Chris Whitlam is in charge of publicity at our meetings .
