Monday 12th January (2pm-4pm)

Clair Stones (Captain Cook's Memorial Museum) will talk on Endeavour’s Journey from Whitby to the World and Back Again
 

Monday 9th February (2pm-4pm)

Claire Marris will talk to us about her and Janet Kukk's study into The Life of Isabella Simpson in India (1832-1840) and her Pictures of India

Monday 9th March (2pm-4pm)

David Pendleton will be coming to speak to us on the Bombardment of the East Coast

Monday 13th April (7pm-9pm) ***NOTE SUMMER TIMING***

Neil Williamson will give a Pictoral Tour of the East Side of Whitby (Part I)
 

Monday 11th May (7pm-9pm)

Neil Williamson will continue his Pictoral Tour of the East Side of Whitby (Part II)

 

Lectures held at The Coliseum in Whitby, close to Whitby Bus Station.  All are welcome; there is a small admission charge of £1 for Whitby Civic Society members and £3 for non members.  (Correct change appreciated)
